Financial Advisor
Jake is a team leader of a group of advisors that is responsible for managing approximately $1 billion in assets. He has particular interest in aligning an individual’s values system with their financial goals and strives to empower clients with an understanding of finance that meets their desire and appetite for information.
Jake has been involved in the financial services industry since 2007. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelor of science degree in finance and a minor in history. Jake is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®), and a Chartered Retirement Plan SpecialistSM (CRPS®).
Jake serves on the board of directors for Severson Dells Nature Center and the Illinois Area YMCA, an endowment fund that benefits local YMCA staff and volunteers in Illinois and Indiana. In 2016 he was recognized by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as one of 40 Leaders Under Forty. In 2021, for the fourth time in five years, he was named on Forbes’ list of America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors. Jake is frequently interviewed by local TV stations and has been quoted by both local and national publications, including The Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, Forbes, and the Rockford Register Star.
Jake and his wife Mackenzie are proud parents of their children, Truman and Cecelia, and continually honor the memory of their son, Theodore. Jake is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, biking, and camping in our national and state parks. He has a passion for music, both singing and playing, and currently plays piano and guitar.
Financial Advisor
Sarah is a founding member of Cents of Self, an initiative that inspires, informs, and empowers women to pursue their best financial futures. She has been involved in the financial services industry since 2015. Prior to joining Savant, Sarah worked for a forensic and litigation consulting group, specializing in data analytics, specifically on fraud investigations and mortgage-backed securities cases.
Sarah earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Illinois, where she graduated as a top 10 student in the College of Business and a top 100 student in the university. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ (CRPS®).
Sarah is a member of the Junior League of Madison and serves on the board of the Madison Estate Council. During her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Adam and son Jack, being active, and baking.
